SOURCE: remove fuel lines from the fuel filter on a 93 f150 ford truck
There is a special tool used to disconnect the lines from the fuel filter. You should be able to get them at any local automotive shop, i.e., Pepboys, Autozone, Chief Auto. It should be relatively cheap to buy this tool.

SOURCE: Fuel Gauge not working
The switch that you use to change tanks is probably faulty - the switchsupplies power for the sending unit in the tank, and to the transferswitch for the gas lines - use a meter to check it

SOURCE: 1992 ford f150 duel tank problem, hard to start
The tanks have to be removed in order to change the fuel float sensors. The hard to start issue could be related to a fuel filter that is full of sediment. The fuel filter could be in the engine compartment before the intake to the engine, but it is more likely an inline filter after the fuel pump on the frame rail. Change the filter and see if that help.

SOURCE: fuel gauge not working
yea fords with two tanks are known for getting stuck if you dont switch the tank constantly. you have to get to the valve that switches the two tanks, and free it up. it definitley isnt anything but the valve.

SOURCE: front fuel tank will not work
You have duel tanks with a fuel pump in each tank. You also have a fuel pump on the frame rail after the "tank selector". This device only holds a fuel filter that protects the main fuel pump. When you select front or rear tank on the dash, you are selecting which in tank fuel pump will operate. You can check the in tank fuel pump by listening for it to "humm" when the key is turned on..The in tank pumps only feed the main pump and cannot run the engine on their own. Hope this helps

usually yes there is one main fuel pump. usually located on the drivers side of the engine block down low. Or on the frame rail in that general vicinity depending on what engine you have.
