Selena Gomez is a legend, an icon, and honestly, she's really just ~the moment~. The multi-hyphenate just announced that she's not only recording her fourth solo studio album (stay tuned on that release), but she's releasing a brand new single on August 25, 2023.
So, in addition to her makeup brand, Rare Beauty, and her role as Mabel in the Emmy Award-winning series Only Murders in the Building (which is currently streaming its brand new season on Hulu), Selena is embarking on a brand new leg of her music career. You know what that means? More cash.
Selena's current ventures are earning her some big bucks, but she's been on the showbiz grind for many, many years. Case in point: she started her career at just 7 years old on Barney and Friends. Then, she was a part of perhaps one of the most iconic Disney Channel eras with her leading role in Wizards of Waverly Place, which also marked her break into the music industry. Since then, Selena's career hasn't slowed down much at all.

How much did Selena make from Disney?
Although she's known for her Disney roots, Selena actually got her start on Barney & Friends. The actress made around $3,000 per episode according to Money Inc. Selena starred in around 13 episodes, per IMDb, so her salary comes out to roughly $39,000. In her recent My Mind & Me documentary, Selena said that she didn't want to slow down after booking Barney. "I loved my job," she said.
She moved to Los Angeles when she was about 11 years old, and went on to play smaller parts on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Hannah Montana (who remembers Mikayla?).

Its Soft Pinch Liquid Blush earned over $70 million alone in 2022, Bloomberg reported in July 2023. How much does Selena make in Only Murders in the Building?
Well, her co-stars on Only Murders in the Building make $600,000 per episode, according to Variety, so it makes sense that Selena would probably make at least that much if not more. If that's the case, she likely made at least $12 million from the 20 episodes that have aired so far.
She's also a C.I.O. (Chief Information Officer)
Yup. Is there anything this star can't do? Selena launched her own mental health wellness site in 2022 called Wondermind, and in addition to helping her fans maintain daily wellness, it's also made her a ton of cash.
Serena Williams' venture capital firm, Serena Ventures, apparently gave Selena's company $5 million, per Forbes. This bumped Wondermind's worth up to $100 million in 2021, and obviously bumped up Selena's personal net worth, too.
She doesn't just sing and act, she's also a producer.
Yup, Selena has her own production company, July Moon Productions, which launched in 2008. She’s credited as an executive producer on 11 projects, two of which are 13 Reasons Why and Only Murders In The Building.
It's also the company behind Selena's iconic Selena + Chef, a show where Selena cooks with celebrity chefs. It's unclear how much Selena makes off these ventures, but considering she's an executive producer, she probably makes sure that she earns what she deserves.

The 31-year-old has amassed 427 million Instagram followers (making her one of the most followed people on the app!), so it makes sense than she gets a lot of money from spon-con (sponsored content). She takes home about $1.735 million for each post according to the 2022 Instagram Rich List.
And don't forget about brand partnerships, either. Back in 2016, Coach paid Selena $10 million to work with them. The deal included the ability to have Selena create her own Coach line, per Celebrity Net Worth.
Meanwhile, Puma paid her $30 million in 2017 for a two-year deal that made her the face of the brand. She also has deals with Pantene and Coca-Cola. Sheesh!
Selena owns a $4.9 million home, plus a few others.
Her Encino property was originally custom-built by famed singer Tom Petty in the 1980s, according to Architectural Digest. She bought the 11,500 square-foot home back in 2020. It has an in-home recording studio, a massage room and gym, a wine cellar, and a large pool, per AD.
Real estate also seems to line Sel's wallet pretty well. She's bought and sold several other homes across the country, including in Forth Worth, Texas and several cities in California. She also obviously stays in NYC while filming Only Murders, but the deets on that residence remain under wraps.
