Over 35 years of experience in the maritime industry as a surveyor, consultant, expert witness, author, conference speaker and business director with a large international marine survey firm.
Specialised in writing expert reports on marine liability and cargo issues with a particular focus to container-ship related casualties, particularly stow collapse, container loss incidents, and matters concerning ship fires.

‘My work is always about the details – not the great outlines – but in the course of the process these details become great outlines.
My experience has been gained from attending hundreds of container ship casualties around the world, writing expert reports, and giving evidence in court and arbitration in many jurisdictions, including London, New York, China, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands.’
